Design Venue have just completed this Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Wetherby. The project  includes a 2,500 sq ft new build extension for a large open plan kitchen and over 140 covers, a contemporary wine bar and a spacious terrazza for al fresco dining. 400 guests celebrated the opening with a charity night for Martin House childrens hospice. This is the second restaurant Design Venue have completed this year with more schemes due for completion both in the UK and abroad over the next 6 months. In April Design Venue completed the Sports Bar & Function rooms at this well known Public House in Yorkshire

Many of Design Venues projects for 2010 will include the development of listed buildings. This includes a Grade 2 listed manor house near Cheltenham for residential use and the fit out of a large nightclub within a listed Warehouse in Manchester. The Directors were recently invited to meet the England team at Arsenals training camp in North London ahead of their World Cup 2010 qualifying matches at Wembley Stadium. After watching the stars including David Beckham, John Terry and Wayne Rooney train under the supervision of manager Fabio Cappello, Derek and Brian chatted with the players before heading to the annual Publican Awards at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
